Z900 Help
- This help is for the Moose Z900 system only. -
If your alarm system is not working correctly, it may mean that there is a serious peoblem with the system. You may need to call us to have it serviced.
To Arm the System
- The Green Ready Light must be lit.
- If not: If the light is not on, a door/window may be open, or someone may be moving in front of a motion detector. The problem zone(s) will be lit where the problem is.
- If the green light is lit, type in your [code] to arm the system. The Red Armed Light will lite, and there will be about a 60 second delay for you to leave the building.
To Disarm the System
- When you enter the building, there is about a 30 second delay. If you fail to disarm the system before the time runs out, the siren may go off and the police may be called. Type in your [code] to disarm the system. The keypad should stop beeping.
If not: If you mis-type your code, or if it does not work the first time, you must press [*] to start over! If not it will give you an error beep.
To recall Alarm Memory
- If there is an alarm while you are away, the red alarm light will be lit. The zone where the alarm occurred will also be lit.
After you've reset the system: Press and hold [3] to recall the Alarm Memory.
If the keypad is beeping...
- Press [*] to silence it.
If the trouble light is lit or flashing: There is a problem with the system, please call us for service.
