Z1100 Help
- This help is for the Moose Z1100/Z1100e systems only. -
If your alarm system is not working correctly, it may mean that there is a serious peoblem with the system. You may need to call us to have it serviced.
* If you have the LCD Z1100ST Keypad you can follow the menu's on the display. These instructions will work with both the graphical Z1100ST keypad and the old Z1100R keypads.
To Arm the System
- The Green Ready Light must be lit.
- If not: If the light is not on, a door/window may be open, or someone may be moving in front of a motion detector. Press [2]+[code] to view which zone(s) have a problem.
- If the green light is lit, press [1]+[code] to arm the system. The Red Armed Light will lite, and there will be about a 60 second delay for you to leave the building.
To Disarm the System
- When you enter the building, there is about a 30 second delay. If you fail to disarm the system before the time runs out, the siren may go off and the police may be called. Press [1]+[code] to disarm the system. The keypad should stop beeping.
If not: If you mis-type your code, or if it does not work the first time, you must press [*] to start over! If not it will give you an error beep and you will not be able to disarm the system.
To recall Alarm Memory
- If there is an alarm while you are away, the red alarm light will be flashing.
After you've reset the system: Press [3]+[code] to recall the Alarm Memory. The zone(s) where the alarm occured will then be lit.
If the keypad is beeping...
- Press [*] to silence it.
If the auxiliary light is lit or flashing: There is a problem with the system, please call us for service.
